This position is a key role within the sales team, responsible for delivering sales targets and achieving commercial objectives by leading the Van Sales Team effectively. The main goal is to enhance market share, increase profitability, and improve conversion rates, while ensuring compliance with Sales Product Campaigns and Retail Operating Standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Sell Renault Trucks van products and service agreements in line with sales targets.
2. Maintain relationships with key account customers.
3. Prospect actively for new business and manage existing customer relationships.
4. Attend customer calls and meetings with the Van sales team to support sales and closing deals.
5. Develop and maintain customer relations.
6. Implement and review promotional campaigns in collaboration with marketing.
7. Perform commercial appraisal of deals to maximize the company's financial position.
8. Manage the Van Sales P&L and relevant balance sheet items, including working capital management.
9. Represent the region at internal and external meetings, including with Renault Trucks UK and Ireland.
10. Maintain effective relationships within RTC and RTUK.
Team Management:
1. Ensure the Van sales team uses the CRM system effectively to manage customer relationships and sales opportunities.
2. Coach and mentor team members to fulfill their roles effectively.
3. Set sales targets and objectives for the Van sales team in collaboration with the Sales Director.
4. Ensure compliance with company sales processes for operational efficiency.
5. Develop commission schemes for the Van sales teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Formal training in management and leadership.
2. Proven success in running sales operations in the Commercial Vehicle industry.
3. Experience in leading, managing, coaching, and mentoring employees.
4. Good understanding of Light Commercial vehicle retail business and environment.
5. Formal sales training qualifications.
