Job Purpose

Provide frontline representation to the membership of the National Federation of Builders to:

* ensure our members receive a comprehensive service making full use of the benefits available to them as part of their membership package
* ensure our contact list for each member is kept up to date and all relevant staff are kept updated on our activities
* cross sell and upsell additional NFB services
* be responsible for retaining members through the level of service you provide
* convert warm leads into NFB members

Key Responsibilities

1. Be the professional face of the NFB and take responsibility for its members

2. Support the implementation of the Membership Services Plan and contribute to the member surveying function

3. Gain a clear understanding of the member's needs, business priorities and match our services to these ensuring maximum take-up

4. Develop a first-class working relationship with all members under your responsibility and provide back up support to colleagues in handling of their members utilising all modern methods of communication

5. Working collaboratively to innovate the Membership Services offering and function to utilise modern technologies and digital transformation

6. Develop a full understanding of the construction sector and the impact of changes to legislation/working rules on our membership

7. Upsell other NFB offerings including event attendance, training, consultancy and other paid for services

8. Utilise a pipeline of warmed leads to convert into full NFB members.

9. Provide support in seeking member feedback and generating a real demand for our events

10. Provide support to the NFB policy team delivering detailed feedback on members concerns

11. Maintain full and accurate records in the NFB's CRM system

12. Contribute to a team environment, sharing best practice to the benefit of our members and the business as a whole

13. Be willing to host events and webinars as required

14. Meet or exceed all targets and agreed KPI's

Person Specification

* Articulate with good interpersonal skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, with internal and external parties
* Excellent organisational skills complemented by the ability to prioritise work and respond to the changing needs of a busy organisation
* Highly organised
* Strong communicator in both written and verbal conversations
* Innovative with the ability to develop practical solutions to problems
* A team player able to work harmoniously with others
* Good IT skills – comfortable with learning and using IT processes
* Target driven
* Willing to travel as and when required
