Overview
Area Sales Manager - Hyundai Construction Equipment. Territories available: Wales, West Midlands, Shropshire, Warwickshire, Greater London, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire. 47.5 hours a week (08:00-18:00, 30 minutes unpaid break). £45,000 base with uncapped commission and an OTE of up to £80k per annum. This is a field-based role for a motivated individual with a proven track record in plant, construction or heavy equipment sales. You will build strong client relationships and increase the client base while delivering outstanding customer service. You will have an established customer base to bring over to our business and partner brands.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the sales growth of the division by generating leads through effective networking, referrals and prospecting.
* Identify, penetrate and close business opportunities to a successful conclusion; secure additional opportunities such as parts and service.
* Prepare and follow up quotations, ensuring timely customer payments.
* Monitor orders closely and rapidly escalate any lost order issues to minimise financial loss.
* Consistently achieve sales and profitability targets.
* Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers to ensure correct specifications are delivered to customers.
* Work and communicate effectively with aftersales to ensure a smooth handover of products to customers.
* Actively develop a network of relationships with both new and existing clients.
* Maintain an accurate database of all customer contact details.
Qualifications / Skills & Behaviours
* Motivated: target-driven with the ability to stay focused, results-driven and self-disciplined in a field-based sales role.
* Customer-focused mindset: committed to exceeding expectations and proactive communication with customers.
* Experience in plant, construction or heavy equipment sales; capable of building and maintaining a client base.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in an organised manner.
