Substitute Teacher

A co‑educational Secondary Academy with a long-established reputation for high academic achievement and excellent behaviour is seeking a dedicated and flexible Substitute Teacher to be a part of their team!
The Role
As a substitute teacher, you will be responsible for supervising pre-prepared lessons, maintaining a calm and purposeful classroom environment, and ensuring that students remain engaged in their learning. You will also be expected to follow the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies, collect completed work at the end of lessons, and provide feedback to teaching staff where appropriate.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a school awarded “Outstanding” in all areas within their most recent Ofsted report. The school’s curriculum is designed to support high achievement and strong progression, with excellent teaching and innovative earning experiences!
Who We Are Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
* Ability to adapt teaching to those with SEN within a mainstream setting when needed
* Confident in the classroom
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students
* A genuine passion for supporting young people and contributing positively to school life
Working Hours and Benefits

Weekly pay is processed every Friday (competitive daily rate), and you will receive ongoing support from a dedicated personal consultant.
