About the School:

Purpose
* Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to primary-aged pupils with SEND, including SEMH and autism.
* Plan and deliver a creative, differentiated primary curriculum, with a focus on core literacy and numeracy skills.
* Provide targeted support to pupils preparing for end of Key Stage 2 assessments (SATs), ensuring accessibility and appropriate scaffolding.
* Create a nurturing and structured learning environment that promotes pupil engagement, confidence, and wellbeing.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to meet the holistic needs of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set high expectations and model excellent teaching practice, adapted to meet individual needs.
* Teach a range of primary curriculum subjects, with a strong emphasis on literacy, numeracy, and SATs preparation.
* Create engaging, child-centred lesson plans that align with EHCP targets and personal learning goals.
* Track and report pupil progress using formative and summative assessments, including SATs frameworks.
* Work closely with the wider team to implement consistent behaviour support strategies.
* Differentiate effectively to ensure inclusive access to learning for all pupils.
* Maintain accurate records of progress, behaviour, and safeguarding concerns using the schools systems.
* Contribute to review meetings, including those related to EHCPs and annual reviews.
* Participate in staff CPD, school events, and enrichment activities.
* Support the schools values and vision, contributing to a positive and inclusive culture.
* To carry out any other reasonable request as and when required.
What we need from you:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Relevant SEND training or certification
* Experience teaching primary-aged pupils with SEND
* Experience preparing pupils for KS2 SATs
* Working with children with SEMH and/or autism
