Adult Accommodation and Support provides support to people in their own homes across Fife.
Responsibilities include:
1. Supporting adults with learning disabilities within their own homes and helping them access their local community.
2. This role includes day shifts, late shifts, sleepovers, and night shifts. All applicants must be able to work all shift patterns. The role may involve working in shared tenancies or on a one-to-one basis, where successful applicants will be lone working.
3. Successful applicants will receive necessary training such as Moving and Handling, Dysphagia, and CALM where required.

The Person
Must have or be willing to achieve, within the first registration period, the Social Services and Healthcare SCQF level 5 (equivalent to SVQ2) or an equivalent qualification to meet Scottish Social Services Council registration requirements.
Essential skills include communication, organisation, workload management and prioritisation, ability to work independently, team working, literacy, and basic IT skills.
Ability to provide support for individuals with personal care needs, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and physical tasks such as kneeling on beds and floors and rising without difficulty.
You are required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of starting employment and complete the necessary Post Registration Training and Learning (PRTL) during the first registration period.
