THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Lingerie Garment Technologist to join our Brighton HO team.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail to ensure that the fit, comfort, design & quality of the product meets the high standards of the brand. You will bring proven experience of fitting intimates including fuller bust sizes. Based at our Brighton HQ, you will report to the Commercial Director and work collaboratively with teams across Design, Buying, Merchandising & Marketing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
All aspects of garment technology, from working on the initial design sample, through to final sign off of the Production sealer, always ensuring this process is managed and carried out within the specified timeline schedule.
* Design Collaboration:
Support design team to ensure concepts can be delivered into practical, manufacturable garments, providing technical guidance on construction methods and suitable fabrics
· Innovation
Shape, fabric and componentry development & innovation for Pour Moi leading our place in the lingerie market.
· Fit Development:
Lead fit sessions for lingerie dept. to ensure the garment fits correctly and performs to the required standard, making precise technical comments for development. Organise fit sessions and maintain the look of the brand, maintaining consistency across product areas.
* Technical Specifications:
Develop and maintain detailed technical packs and product specifications to ensure all aesthetic and technical requirements are met.
* Fabric and Material Sourcing:
Advise on suitable fabrics and trims, conduct testing, and ensure quality consistency.
* Quality Control:
Implement quality control procedures at all stages of production, from fabric selection to final product approval, and analyse returns to improve product reliability.
* Supplier Management:
Liaise with manufacturers and the supply base to communicate technical requirements, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to technical and quality standards.
* Timeline Management:
Working with the Design & Buying teams to manage critical path timelines to ensure on-time delivery of products to stores / customers.
· Risk assessments:
Review and collaborate with relevant teams to minimise any risk that may occur through the development process, to ensure high quality products are delivered effectively.
* Ethical Compliance:
Manage and implement social and ethical compliance standards with suppliers to ensure products are made ethically.
· Quality & AQL Management
Drive consistency in fit and quality through product development/approval processes. Facilitate the sharing of good technical practice throughout the team to ensure productivity. Assure products are safe and legal to international and in-house standards.
· Continual fit & quality improvement
Monitoring returns and website feedback on ranges. Refining and improving quality, comfort & fitting of garments to reduce return rates and improve customer satisfaction.
Tools of the trade:
Technical Knowledge:
· Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience of Lingerie garment tech / fitting for fuller bust sizes.
· A strong understanding of lingerie garment construction, pattern making, fabrics, grading, and the manufacturing process.
· Have a strong understanding garment grading to be able to both create and sign off specs
· Knowledge and use of Lectra / Modaris.

· A keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of quality, fit, and design.
Highly organised and proactive
· Must be able to work to a critical path to maintain deadlines
Teamwork and Communication:
· Ability to work effectively in a team with designers, buyers. Proven experience of communicating and working with Far East supply base.
