Founded in 1985, The Groucho Club is one of London’s most renowned private members’ clubs, bringing together individuals from the creative industries including film, media, arts, publishing, and music.
Located in Soho, the Club provides bars, restaurants, event spaces, and bedrooms exclusively for members and their guests. Discretion, individuality and a relaxed yet professional atmosphere sit at the heart of everything we do.
Reporting To The Safety & Security Manager, You Will
* Maintain the safety, security, and wellbeing of both our members and employees.
* Safeguard the premises and uphold the Club’s excellent reputation.
* Be a friendly, professional ambassador for the Club, positively shaping member experiences.
* Deliver exceptional customer service to both members and colleagues.
* Respond promptly and effectively to any security incidents, and accurately record and report them.
* Take an active role in daily team meetings and communications.
* Use good judgement and discretion in all interactions, including supporting colleagues with situations such as member intoxication.
* Monitor and review CCTV to ensure the safety and smooth running of the Club.
What Makes You a Great Fit
* Outgoing, confident, and personable, you enjoy engaging with people.
* Smart, well-presented, and professional at all times.
* Hold a valid SIA Security Guard licence.
* Solid understanding of security operations and procedures.
* Able to maintain professional composure in challenging or unusual situations.
* Comfortable using computers; basic skills required, more is a bonus.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Committed to delivering outstanding customer service to both members and colleagues.
* Skilled at interacting successfully across social levels and diverse values.
* Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and adapt to changing situations.
