As a Team PA, you will become an integral part of a close-knit and high-performing practice, working alongside Partners, Associates and support professionals to deliver a seamless, client-focused service.
The Role
As a Team PA, you will provide proactive, high-level support to Partners and fee earners, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. The position requires someone who is confident managing competing priorities, anticipating needs and building strong working relationships across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored administrative support to Partners and fee earners, acting as a first point of contact
- Proactively manage busy diaries and inboxes, resolving scheduling conflicts and prioritising effectively
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including logistics, agendas and supporting documents
- Arrange complex travel itineraries including flights, accommodation, visas and transport
- Support the billing process end-to-end, including drafting bills, processing disbursements and raising credit notes
- Assist with client collections by preparing and sending communications regarding outstanding invoices
- Manage expenses, invoices and general accounts payable tasks
- Support matter opening processes, including compliance checks and document management
- Maintain and update CRM systems and support business development activity
- Assist with document production, formatting and bundling as required
- Build strong relationships across the firm and provide support to other teams when needed
About You
- Previous experience as a PA within a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- High level of attention to detail with strong typing, proofreading and numeracy skills
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently using sound judgement
- Professional, client-focused approach with the ability to perform under pressure
