Job Title: Forklift Driver – Pallet Network

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join our fast-paced pallet network operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and stacking palletised freight efficiently and safely, ensuring timely distribution and compliance with network standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate counterbalance and/or reach forklifts to load and unload palletised goods.
* Handle inbound and outbound freight according to pallet network procedures (e.g., scanning, labelling, segregating).
* Ensure goods are stacked and stored safely and efficiently in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Accurately scan consignments using handheld scanners or WMS systems.
* Work closely with traffic and warehouse teams to ensure timely dispatch and arrival of goods.
* Check freight for damage and report any discrepancies.
* Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
* Perform daily equipment checks and report faults immediately.
* Adhere to site safety rules, procedures, and quality standards.
Requirements:
* Valid Forklift Truck Licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach – RTITB or ITSSAR accredited).
* Previous experience in a pallet network environment (preferred but not essential).
* Good understanding of warehouse operations and health & safety practices.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Flexible to work shifts, including nights or weekends if required.
* Physically fit and able to lift/push/pull as required.
Desirable:
* Experience with pallet network systems (e.g., UPN, TPN, Pallet line, Palletways, etc.)
* Knowledge of scanning and WMS technology.
* Manual handling certification.

Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour
