*To legally be able to perform this role the intermediate cremator operators certificate is required, if the applicant does not possess this they may be considered suitable for a “trainee” position entering the service at a lower pay grade, progression to the higher grade being wholly dependent upon obtaining the qualification, for which training and support will be provided. The qualification MUST be obtained within the 6 months probationary period for the employment to continue.
