We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to support children with additional needs in a nurturing and inclusive school environment. This is a long-term, full-time role ideal for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in students' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one support and lead small group interventions for pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
Assist the class teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Help create a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment
Work closely with other staff, parents, and external professionals
Encourage and promote positive learning behaviours
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs (essential)
Proven ability to work both one-to-one and with small groups
A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach
A relevant qualification in education or childcare is desirable but not essential
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
