We are recruiting for an experienced **Administrator** to join a leading construction company on a flagship project in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting a major scheme that will run for approximately three years initially, with long-term career potential.
The Role
As **Project Administrator**, you will provide vital support to the project team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all day-to-day administration. You'll be at the heart of the operation, working closely with managers, engineers, and site staff to keep everything on track.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Handling project documentation, reports, and correspondence
* Managing databases, filing systems, and records
* Supporting meetings – preparing agendas, minutes, and action tracking
* Coordinating communications between office and site teams
* Assisting with procurement, compliance, and H&S documentation
* General administrative support to ensure the project runs efficiently
About You
We are looking for a proactive, organised, and detail-focused administrator who thrives in a busy project environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Strong all-round administration skills, ideally gained in a construction or engineering environment
* Excellent organisational and communication abilities
* Confident with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems
* Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure
* Previous experience supporting large-scale projects is highly desirable
