Apprentice - Architecture
RPS is looking for an Apprentice to join our Architecture team. If you are curious about a career in Architecture, we currently have opportunities based out of our Newark office. The position will suit someone with a real interest in Built Environment or Architecture. About The Design Business: RPS Design Division delivers projects across multiple, niche sectors from residential housing developments, logistics, retail, aviation, healthcare, education, advanced manufacturing, data centres, energy and more as we strive to achieve the right balance between form and function when faced with competing priorities around sustainability, materiality, cost and constructability. Digitalisation is at the core of our delivery model allowing our clients and their stakeholders to really experience our designs right from project concept stage and through drawing on expertise spanning decades, industries and disciplines, we assist clients to harmonise design drivers through inspired engineering, architecture and development services. What you’ll be doing You will demonstrate an interest in the Built Environment and Architecture sectors. You will have the opportunity to work on the Design of the construction projects.
1. Produce drawings and Revit models for detailed design for each phase of building construction including planning, tender and final issue.
2. Produce drawings and models for the use in site design and development.
3. Manage the control and distribution of both internal and external contractor drawings.
Who we’re looking for To be considered for our apprentice programme you will need to have:
4. Must have 5 GCSEs grade 5 or above (or equivalent) including English, Mathematics and Science.
5. Exhibit strong communication skills and collaborative teamwork abilities.
6. Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
7. Keen interest in the Built Environment and Architecture.
What we offer you During your apprenticeship, RPS will provide a designated mentor to support you in your role and development and there will be opportunities to learn from the wider team. In addition, we will provide the following:

9. In-house AutoCAD and Revit training.
