Day Mental Registered Nurse with experience in a similar role
Care Home with Nursing in Leeds area, the 85-room facility this Care Centre offers a range of specialist care for residents, ranging from Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s care, to care for stroke victims.
Overseeing all aspects of the care center, manager manages a team of 10 nurses and 60 care assistants, many of whom are trained to NVQ level 2-3. The team at this Care Centre operate five units, each tailored to the dependency levels of the residents to ensure the right level of care is received.

Available Hours/Pay
1. Full Time 36-48 hours per week
2. Paid breaks
3. Long shifts 8am-8pm
4. Pay rate £21-£22 /hour
5. Day shifts mainly, some time if need it to be covered some night shifts

About the Role:
The main responsibilities of this role include:
6. Providing a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
7. Promoting the highest standards of clinical nursing throughout the hospital
8. Overseeing the day-to-day care of patients and the administration of required medication
9. To provide nursing and personal care and promote their abilities.
10. Planning, implementing, and supervising the provision of quality care
11. Maintaining the required medical documentation
12. Upholding residents’ rights to privacy, dignity and choice
13. At a more senior level, you’ll also need to lead shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team
14. Familiarizing yourself with, and strictly adhering to, company policy and procedure and Care Inspectorate guidelines

The main requirements for this role are:
15. *Must be a MENTAL REGISTERED NURSE (current PIN number with NMC and experience in the UK )
16. *One year's experience is desirable
17. *A genuine desire to work with the elderly
18. *The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, along with excellent listening skills
19. *The ability to supervise other staff members comfortably and competently
20. *Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
21. *Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
22. *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements
Registered General Nurse /Registered Mental Nurse with experience in a care home setting caring for older people. Hold a valid UK NMC PIN ( no restrictions) Ability to work on shift/rota pattern. Have the right to work in the UK Experience in a similar role Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
