Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-profile transformation programmes within highly secure environments. This role requires exceptional leadership, governance, and customer engagement skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead mobilisation and delivery of complex transformation projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and Roc’s delivery framework.
* Manage complex technology and infrastructure projects (planning, execution, risk, and stakeholders).
* Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to project teams.
* Drive collaboration across customer, Roc, and partner organisations.
* Ensure strict adherence to governance, compliance, and security requirements.
* Maintain financial tracking, reporting, and documentation.
* Proactively escalated and resolved risks/issues.
Essential Requirements
* Proven track record leading large-scale, complex IT or infrastructure transformation projects.
* Strong governance, planning, and financial management skills.
* Ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in secure/government environments.
* Eligible and willing to obtain/maintain SC clearance (DV preferred).
* Experience in secure, regulated, or defence-related industries.
* Flexibility to work on-site at Aldermaston and travel to secure sites.
Desirable Skills
* Project management qualifications (Prince2, APM, PMP or equivalent).
* Experience with MoD, government, or highly classified environments.
* Background in consultancy, professional services, or systems integration.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in high‑pressure contexts.
