Job Description
We are hiring a hybrid cloud Delivery team member to partner with Enterprise Data Engineering consultants, accelerating data engineering projects and delivering technical solutions to customers.
Responsibilities
* Verify and implement detailed technical designs for identified problems.
* Create technical designs for enterprise solutions.
* Act as Principal Consultant, analyzing and developing enterprise technology solutions.
* Lead technical assessment and delivery of specific solutions, managing team structure and lifecycle.
* Coordinate implementations, designs, and migrations in domains such as networks, applications, or platforms.
* Provide advanced technical consulting and advice on proposals, design, system management, tuning, and modification.
* Contribute to company strategy.
* Collect and analyze data to determine customer needs and requirements.
* Respond to technical information requests from customers.
* Develop technology solutions using industry products and technologies.
* Solve technical problems across multiple technologies, developing new methods as needed.
* Manage knowledge sharing within teams and communities.
* Encourage community contributions and coach peers, publishing knowledge briefs and presenting at conferences.
* Support sales activities, manage bids, and contribute to the sales lifecycle.
* Produce proposals for smaller engagements within the area of expertise.
Education and Experience
* 8+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or a related field; without a degree, 11+ years of experience in total.
Knowledge and Skills
* Experience working in UK Public Sector.
* Experience with highly secure solutions and networks.
* Depth and breadth of technical knowledge to design and scope multiple deliverables across technologies.
* Demonstrated innovation and communication of new deliverables and offerings.
* Leadership in delivery of multiple deliverables across multiple technologies.
* Ability to design solutions that improve availability, performance, maintainability, and agility.
* Contributed to the design and application of new tools.
* Reuse of existing experience to develop marketable solutions.
* Detailed understanding of architectural dependencies in customer IT environments.
* Expertise in one or more technologies at the technical community and regional level; vendor or industry certification in at least one discipline.
* Strong communication with senior internal and external management.
* Diagnostic skill in multi‑technology environments, summarizing prognosis and impact.
* Adaptable consulting style with upsell identification.
* Broad understanding of market dynamics, commercial issues, and technical concerns.
* Presentation skills within area of expertise for customer sales presentations.
* Proposal development for smaller engagements.
* Broad knowledge across technical areas for complex integration.
* Capability to independently complete solution implementation or design deliverables.
* Team management for architecture or implementation deliverables.
Prerequisite Role Restrictions
* Must hold National Security Clearance Level 04 Developed Vetting (DV) – UKIC.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
* The role is client‑site based; no remote or hybrid work.
