About the role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a number of schools across Stoke-on-Trent to recruit SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Teaching Assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience in education, care, or support work who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people facing social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. These roles are available for an immediate start.
Our partner schools support pupils with a range of SEMH needs and create nurturing, structured environments where all children are encouraged to thrive. Staff work collaboratively to provide tailored, therapeutic approaches to learning, helping pupils build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.
These schools are seeking empathetic, resilient, and committed individuals who are ready to provide consistent and compassionate support to pupils who may display challenging behaviour or require emotional regulation strategies.
