Job Description Department : Digital Transformation Team Location : Manchester Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Role : Process & Digital Improvement Analyst – (Insurance) The Role You will be working as part of the Insurance Innovation Team working closely and in a collaborative manner with business support, fee earners and IT personnel to analyse processes, the data captured through the process and our current ways of working. The role will also look at future ways of working through the utilisation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Optical Character Reading (OCR) to drive and embed efficiencies through our insurance practice prior to sharing across the wider firm. Your skills will require the ability to communicate with stakeholder and user at all levels in order understand current processes and then supporting in the design and implementation of future ways of working through Lean Six Sigma methodology. The analysis of existing data sets and ways of working whilst highlighting new data requirements in order to deliver automation is essential to support the end users. The role is focused on delivering a simpler and more efficient user interaction and experience whilst running a matter end to end. The role reports into the Head of Digital & Transformation – Insurance. Key Responsibilities Design and implement a paperless way of working utilisation existing technology available to users. Build a community of users to support the implementation of change delivered through process, technology and data. Undertake process analysis to establish optimised lean operating processes and work with associated data points to complete analysis of current state working practices. Analysis of data to create insights that allow the identification of new opportunities to improve efficiency in internal operating procedures. Work with senior management to develop end state process maps aligned where appropriate to automation functionality to deliver system changes for project managers and developers to then implement. Working on requests for data, analysis and information to support specific operational and strategic needs and then delivering the insight back in a visually appealing and understandable format. Essential Skills & Experience Ability to communicate with stakeholders and users at all levels to build confidence and trust in the work being delivered. A good working knowledge of the systems and data repositories in the business allowing for the retrieval of data as required. Demonstrable data analysis skills within Excel and the capability to visually present insight back into the business. Ideally Lean Six Sigma Green belt qualified, however, a clear competence in this area with a desire to attain process and data analysis qualifications would be acceptable. Ability to work on own initiative; once a sense of direction has been communicated is then able to develop the ideas independently. A clear understanding of key drivers of business performance and opportunities to improve. Aligned to this is being able to understand the needs of different stakeholders across the firm. Strong team player and capable of working collaboratively within a cross functional team to achieve joint business goals.
