Working in partnership with the Police, Insurers and Government our collective aim is to make it a thing of the past but, until that’s accomplished, we’re here to compensate victims quickly, fairly and compassionately.Last year we helped more than 34,000 people struck by uninsured and hit-and-run drivers and paid over £400 million in compensation to support victims rebuild their lives.About the roleWe’re looking for a People Value Stream Lead to drive the People Workstream that supports MIB’s Accelerating to Zero (A to Z) strategy. In this role, you’ll partner with the Enterprise Prioritisation Group (EPG), the People Team, and key stakeholders to deliver transformation outcomes and build the capabilities that shape our future.You’ll forecast enterprise-wide demand, align priorities, and ensure our People strategy supports every workstream – making a real impact on how we achieve our ambitious goals.Key responsibilities Own and deliver the People Value Workstream roadmap; including business readiness plans, writing business cases, optimise sequencing of delivery and signed-off design decisions.Act as key member of Enterprise Prioritisation Group, keep EPG informed of workstream priorities and meet reporting requirements; whilst also helping facilitate effective decision making.Work collaboratively with the Head of People Partnering to determine how to address relevant people requirements/issues that need to be addressed via the EPG or the People Partner channel.Engage with other value workstream leads and other stakeholders where appropriate to understand demand and prioritise the People Value Workstream backlog and inputs to other workstreams.Advocate for people business principles and change, challenging as necessary.Create robust proposals/reports for quarterly enterprise-wide review, ensuring prioritisation, alignment and clear articulation of benefits.Be accountable for the People Value Workstream budget and ensure MI and benefit tracking is in place.Ensure EPG design and infosec principles are followed and partner with Programme Director/Head of Delivery to continuously review and evolve the value stream/EPG set.Work closely with People Programme Managers to scope and plan, ensuring capacity and funding are in place and help identify and manage governance, risks, and dependencies.Liaise with and keep the CPO advised of progress, any concerns and recommendations to ensure the People Value Workstream delivers its goal for MIB to have the right People, right capabilities and right conditions to do our best work.Partner effectively with the People Leadership Team to scope/commission required services and support; and ensure the People Value Stream prioritises outputs that align with business strategy.Support EPG in identifying and managing emerging SME resource requirements as and when needed by the business areas; arranging for Organisation Design expertise where needed.Build collaborative relationships with other senior stakeholders (ExCo, senior leaders, managers), keeping them informed about the Value Stream’s purpose and vision.Champion enterprise-wide change management and alignment with MIB’s people strategy to ensure we optimise organisational performance and enhanced employee experience.
