Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong relationships with community organisations and partners
* Create and manage a comprehensive community contact database
* Identify and develop opportunities for community activities within leisure centres
* Liaise with centre staff to book and coordinate activities and sessions
* Support organisations once activities are established
* Assist with member sign‑ups and site tours where required
* Identify and support applications for external grant funding
* Contribute to and lead the BCLT Sport & Community Engagement Plan
* Support centre staff with community‑related queries
* Assist with advertising and promotion of activities
* Ensure equality, diversity, safeguarding, and privacy needs are understood and met

Qualifications
* A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
* A team player who can build trust and positive relationships
* Self‑motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple projects
* Flexible and able to work under pressure
* Confident using IT and Microsoft Office packages
* Passionate about equality, diversity, and safeguarding, A community development qualification and/or relevant leisure/community experience
* A full, current driving licence
* Willingness to travel across Birmingham as required
Location: B73 6EB, must be willing to work between all our Birmingham leisure centres.
Hours: 40 hours per week between Monday to Friday + Occasional evenings / weekends when required. Salary: £26,280.07 per annum + Excellent benefits
