Learning Support Assistant

Salary: £92.56 - £105 per day

The school is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant on a contract basis from September. The successful Learning Support Assistant will work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping to manage behaviour positively and safely while supporting their academic, social, and emotional development throughout the school day.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
• Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar support role
• Team Teach training or a strong understanding of restraint and positive handling strategies
• Experience supporting children with SEND, SEMH, or behavioural needs
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
