🌊 We’re Hiring: Offshore Geotechnical Engineer (UK-based, near Norwich)
Are you ready to kick-start or advance your career in offshore geotechnics? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Offshore Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing offshore site investigation team. This role offers the chance to work on industry-leading offshore wind, cable, oil & gas, and marine infrastructure projects.
You’ll gain hands-on experience both offshore and onshore, working within a tight-knit technical team that supports site investigations from seabed acquisition to final reporting.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing
* Work offshore as a Geotechnical Engineer and Laboratory Technician, acquiring and processing CPT/in situ and sample data from shallow seabed geotechnical site investigations.
* Assist with QA/QC of offshore data and onboard laboratory testing.
* Learn and apply geotechnical data processing software.
* Potential to gain experience in laboratory testing and geotechnical reporting under supervision.
* Support field data and project delivery under guidance from a Supervising Geotechnical Engineer and Geotechnical Manager.
* Participate in office-based training and data review sessions, with remote work options available.
🧠About You
* A recent graduate or early-career professional with a degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology, Geology, or a related discipline.
* 1+ years of industry experience.
* Diligent, detail-focused, and proactive in your approach to work.
* Enthusiastic about offshore assignments and ready to travel when required.
* Eager to learn new software, techniques, and practical field skills.
* Effective communication skills and ability to work effectively in offshore team environments.
* Preferably UK-based.

* £28,000 – £35,000 salary + site uplift for offshore days.
