A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager to join a busy and fast-paced used car operation at their head office in Hinckley.
With strong customer demand and a high-volume retail environment, this is the perfect role for a motivated and dynamic individual looking to drive performance, lead a successful team, and maximise F&I revenue.
Responsibilities as a Sales Manager:
8. Lead and motivate a team of Business Managers to deliver exceptional customer service throughout the finance and insurance (F&I) journey.
9. Drive a high-performance culture focused on achieving and exceeding F&I targets.
10. Act as the go-to finance expert, assisting customers with funding options and closing deals.
11. Manage finance lead pipelines and work closely with the wider sales and specialist teams.
12. Build strong working relationships with lender partners and stay up to date with their latest policies and systems.
13. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to the team to ensure consistent development and performance.
14. Monitor and manage team KPIs, conduct regular reviews, and drive continual improvement.
15. Maintain compliance with FCA and regulatory frameworks.
16. Convert high volumes of enquiries into appointments and successful outcomes.
17. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements needed for the Sales Manager role:
18. Proven experience in a Sales Manager role with a focus on F&I performance.
19. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a team.
20. Excellent track record of achieving sales targets and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
21. Confidence in handling performance management and driving improvement.
22. Well-organised, goal-driven, and hands-on.
23. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
24. FCA accredited or willingness to undertake training.
