Job Description
* Maintain turf health through mowing, aerating, fertilising, and pest control
* Set up and maintain course elements including bunkers, hazards, and tee markers
* Operate and maintain greenkeeping equipment safely and efficiently
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all work areas
* Communicate effectively with team members, management, and golf course users
* Apply golf rules and etiquette in course maintenance activities
* Support renovation projects and ornamental area maintenance as required
* Monitor and report on course conditions and operational issues
* Attend training sessions and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge
* Uphold The Mere's values and maintain high standards of professionalism

Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf Maintenance (or working towards) preferred
* PA1, PA2, PA6 spraying certificates desirable
* Minimum 2 years of experience in greenkeeping, sports turf, or grounds maintenance
* Experience operating turf machinery including mowers, tractors, and implements
* Knowledge of turf care, including mowing, aeration, irrigation, and nutrition
* Understanding of UK Health & Safety regulations, including safe machinery use and COSHH
* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
* Strong communication skills and a positive, team‑focused attitude
* A passion for golf course presentation and delivering exceptional playing conditions
