Rate: Up to £550 per day (Umb PAYE)
Start Date: 29th September 2025

Red Sky Personnel is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an exciting long-term freelance opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer based in Peterborough. This role offers a competitive daily rate, working within a dynamic and collaborative environment on significant infrastructure projects.
You'll be joining a professional, driven team, contributing your expertise to ensure project success. The position offers stability, a clear project timeline, and the chance to make a real impact over the duration of the contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design, review, and approval of electrical engineering solutions for projects.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
* Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
* Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards, regulations, and safety procedures.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
* Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, and reports.
* Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables related to electrical works.
* Conduct site inspections to monitor quality, progress, and adherence to specifications.
