We have an immediateopening for an energetic and experienced Business DevelopmentManager who will help us grow our business.
Youwill be hungry driven and passionate about assisting innovativecompanies leverage this incentive.
You will havean excellent previous record of achieving sales targets be able towork independently be selfdetermined and enjoy flexibility throughautonomy whilst delivering on our businessgoals.
TheRole
The Sales Consultant is afulltime permanent role taking responsibility for the developmentof new clients and maintaining clientrelationships.
You will plan and organise yourdaily workload to meet the company strategy grow the business andachieve KPIs.
This will be a clientfacing roleand will include developing sales leads contacting companiesarranging appointments with prospective clients deliveringpresentations winning contracts in a professional and polishedmanner.
As you develop within the role you willdemonstrate an understanding of the basic tax concepts of anR&D tax credit claim and R&D Grants whilst keepinginformed of current R&D taxdevelopments.
RoleResponsibilities
Youll be someonewho is both comfortable working proactively and managing your owntasks as well as confident collaborating with others andcommunicating regularly with senior managers and directors to helpbusinesses effectively.
Be responsible for newbusiness development within your designated territory includingclosing sales and working with Visiativ active referralpartners.
Proactively generate new referrersthrough personal networks events seminars conferences or any otherrelevant activity.
Attend appointments withcompanies and potential referrers to present our proposition and topromptly respond to referrals.
Share bestpractice in increasing effectiveness of client screening and salesmeetings.
Influence persuade sell to andnegotiate with senior management teams of target companies. Extrasupport may be provided e.g. technical legal orfinancial.
Responsible for planning andorganising daily workload in order to meet the company strategy andgrow the business achieve their KPIs complete CRM to record alldaily activity leads and opportunities.
Thinkstrategically seeing the bigger picture and setting aims andobjectives to develop and improve thebusiness.
Essential ExperienceRequired
Proven relevant privateclient/professional services experience
Proven trackrecord of prospecting to closing leads
A strongunderstanding of the business development pipeline and howBDactivity can help to grow revenues and profitability
Theability to build strong peertopeer relationships andidentifyopportunities to collaborate both internally andexternally
Strong commercial acumen and the ability toquickly build an understandingof R&D Tax Creditservices
The ability to persuade influence and challengekey stakeholders in aconstructive manner
Projectmanagementskills
DesirableExperience
Knowledge of researchactivities across Environment Software Engineering ClimateSustainability and/or advanced Manufacturing. However allbackgrounds will be considered.
Knowledge ofR&D Tax Credit and R&D grants would be advantageous(full training will be provided around the R&D schemehowever candidates must have willingness to learn the basic taxconcepts of R&D TaxCredits)
