We are currently working with a welcoming private secondary school in Shenfield that is seeking a compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students both within the classroom and within their dedicated SEN unit. Job Overview:
* This Shenfield private secondary school caters for students aged 11-16.
* Full-time Teaching Assistant position, Monday - Friday.
* Provide classroom support and 1:1 assistance to students within the SEN unit and mainstream lessons in Shenfield.
* Support students with additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum.
* Work closely with the SENCO, teachers and pastoral team to support student development.
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or supporting young people with SEN.
* A patient, caring and proactive Teaching Assistant who enjoys supporting secondary students.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine passion for helping students build confidence and independence.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
