Confidential "Private Client Wealth Adviser / Associate Director" (Hybrid)
We are recruiting confidentially on behalf of a boutique, next‑generation wealth management firm seeking an experienced Chartered Financial Planner to take the role of Private Client Wealth Adviser / Associate Director to join their senior team. This is a high‑touch role working with HNW and UHNW clients, supporting a director and managing your own portfolio. This position offers a clear pathway to senior leadership and potential equity participation.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver white‑glove relationship management for HNW/UHNW clients (typical portfolios £1m–£10m+), acting as primary or secondary contact.
* Support and advise a director on technical strategy, attend client meetings, and prepare suitability reports and planning notes.
* Provide holistic wealth planning: retirement, investment strategy, estate & IHT, protection, cashflow modelling.
* Coordinate multi‑disciplinary advice with tax advisers, solicitors, accountants and investment managers.
* Liaise with DFMs/CIO teams on portfolio design, monitoring and bespoke mandates.
* Oversee onboarding, file quality and audit‑ready documentation; drive operational improvements and lead support teams.
* Ensure all advice meets FCA requirements, Consumer Duty and internal compliance.
Skills & Experience Required
* Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential); Level 6/Chartered desirable.
* Proven experience advising HNW/UHNW clients in wealth management, private banking or financial planning.
* Strong technical knowledge of pensions, tax planning, trusts, investments and estate planning.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; confident presenting to senior clients and facilitating multi‑party meetings.
* Strong commercial awareness, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Sound understanding of FCA Conduct Rules, suitability requirements and Consumer Duty.
Package & Logistics
* Salary: competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications.
* Employment: Full‑time (37.5 hours/week), hybrid working.
* Reporting into senior directors.
