The Pharmacy department aims to enhance clinical pharmacy services within the Trust and expand ward-based services through the appointment of rotational clinical pharmacists at Band 6. This is a developmental role with potential progression to Band 7.
We seek highly motivated, adaptable clinical pharmacists with a ‘can do’ attitude towards improvement and development.
Our automated, technician-led dispensary allows pharmacists to focus on clinical activities via a patient-centred pharmacy service.
Successful candidates will possess well-developed communication skills, initiative, and confidence to set and achieve personal objectives. They will be team players with good interpersonal and organisational skills.
This training post offers a structured rotational programme across key hospital pharmacy areas, with support from senior staff. Training will be competency-based, with developmental opportunities in each rotation. There is also the opportunity to pursue a clinical diploma or further education if desired.
