We are currently recruiting a Head Waiter to join our excellent 1 star Michelin Restaurant team at Carton House. Key Responsibilities Ensure that all guests are greeted in a warm and courteous fashion and tended to in a professional manner. Lead the completion of tasks outlined in the shift task list to a high level. Represent Carton House’s passion for customer service, proactively ensuring each guest has the memorable experience expected at Carton House. To always be familiar with product offering (i.e. the menu, specials and ingredients, beverages on offer, wine list, etc). Familiarize yourself with sales and promotional activity and up sell at every possible opportunity. Ensure that all Food and Beverage products are served efficiently and in accordance with the Company standard of presentation. Carry out cash handling procedures in accordance with Company policy. The successful candidate will have: Fine dining restaurant experience A real understanding of hotel food and beverage operation. Ability to work on own initiative. Excellent communication skills with excellent spoken & written English. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a 4/5* property. A structured and organized approach to work planning.
