Job Title: Events Coordinator Location: Durham Salary: £26,500 per annum Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am-16:30pm and Friday 8:30am-15:30pm About the Client Our client is a well established organisation that focuses on building strong professional relationships and creating opportunities for business growth. About the role Our client is seeking a proactive Events Coordinator to help deliver a diverse programme of events, from workshops and networking lunches to large scale exhibitions and conferences. You'll manage logistics, communications and digital promotion, liaising with internal teams and external partners to ensure every event runs smoothly. This fast paced, varied role is perfect for someone organised, creative, and eager to make an impact. Duties of the Events Coordinator Plan, coordinate and deliver a range of events, including workshops, networking sessions, exhibitions and conferences, managing logistics, travel and external event presence. Manage all event administration, including booking systems, delegate communications, marketing collateral and event related documentation. Maintain and update event webpages, booking platforms and digital content to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and terms. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, suppliers and external partners to ensure smooth event delivery. Monitor and update event budgets, track income and expenditure and support reporting requirements. Use project management tools and social media to promote events, support organisational objectives and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Key Skills Previous experience in coordinating projects or events Strong organisational and project management skills, able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment while meeting deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and external contacts. Creative and detail oriented, with an ability to follow guidelines while suggesting improvements to processes or workflows. Professional, adaptable and customer focused, with a proactive approach and a commitment to continuous learning and development. Knowledge of data management, administrative best practices. Full UK driving licence and access to own transport. In return the successful candidate will receive a salary of £26,500 with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a discretionary bonus.
