Overview
Clerical Officer Health Records role at NHS Scotland. This is a part-time, pro rata position based primarily at Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley, with the possibility of relocation to other GGC locations. The post is subject to a 4-week rolling shift pattern: 7am–7pm, 7pm–7am and 3pm–11pm.
Responsibilities
To support effective clinical care by providing an efficient Health Records service to patients, medical and nursing staff. Ensure patient appointments for outpatient clinics, day cases and inpatient admissions are administered and processed accurately. Maintain patient health records to ensure confidentiality, secure storage, and availability when needed. Maintain electronic and paper-based patient records systems and up-to-date demographic and administrative data in the patient management system.
Qualifications
* National 4 or Level 1 qualification in 3 subjects, including English or equivalent.
* General administration and office experience/previous clerical experience desirable.
* Computer literate with good keyboard skills.
* Previous reception experience desirable.
* Prior experience of using a Patient Management System desirable; training will be provided.

Please note the salary is pro rata for part-time hours. This post is a GGC-wide post and can be moved to any location; initial base will be Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley.
