Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the Mathematics Department across the full age and ability range.
* Collaborate with school leaders and federation partners to enhance the learning experience for students.
* Develop the department’s collaborative vision for mathematics learning.
* Model effective teaching practice and embed purposeful evaluation and improvement processes.
* Support and develop a dedicated and enthusiastic mathematics team.
Qualifications
* Ability to develop strategies for promoting effective teaching and learning.
* Successful track record of teaching Mathematics at GCSE.
* Sound understanding of recent educational developments and research relating to Mathematics in Wales.
* Strong leadership and motivational skills.
* Ability to manage resources effectively.
* Evidence of raising standards.
* Commitment to supporting young people, of all abilities.
* Enhanced DBS check (with Barred List).
* Basic knowledge of Welsh (Level 1).
