Compass One is looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Cleaning & Associated Services to lead innovation, drive sustainability, and set the gold standard across our Defence, Marine, and Aerospace portfolio.What You'll DoChampion Compass One's cleaning strategy across public sector contracts, ensuring operational excellence and consistency.Provide expert guidance on cleaning methodologies, technologies, and best practice.Lead transformational projects that enhance service delivery, efficiency, and sustainability.Test and implement cutting-edge innovations, from new products to digital solutions.Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.Embed ESG principles into operations, reducing carbon impact and supporting sustainability goals.Act as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders, supporting bids and tenders with technical expertise.Mentor and develop teams, building capability and fostering a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.What We're Looking ForProven experience in cleaning/facilities management within the public sector or regulated environments.Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, legislation, and compliance frameworks.Track record of delivering operational improvements across multiple sites.Understanding of ESG principles, sustainability practices, and digital transformation.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Analytical, problem-solving mindset with proficiency in technology and data-driven tools.Flexibility to travel across sites, with a valid driving licence.QualificationsRecognised qualification in Cleaning Management, Facilities Management, or related field (e.g., BICSc, IWFM, NEBOSH).Project management qualification (PRINCE2, APM) desirable.Health & Safety certification preferred.Why Join Us?This is your chance to make a real impact in environments where precision, compliance, and innovation matter most.
