Role and responsibilities
We are currently looking for a Graduate Teaching Associate in Computer Science. You will be situated in the College of Creative Arts, Technology and Engineering. The purpose of the role is to support teaching and learning through the delivery of modules in conjunction with the Course Leader. Typical duties include tutorial class teaching; personal tutorial support; provision of feedback to students; course work assessment and examination marking.
As a Graduate Teaching Associate you will work toward a fee waived PhD within the college in an area of your choosing. After successful completion of the PhD, you will automatically be promoted to Lecturer in the school.
You will have a mix of skills and competencies relevant to some of the following areas:
* Artificial intelligence and Robotics
* Programming and Software Engineering
* Computer Systems, Networks and Cyber Security
* Web, Mobile and Digital Technologies
