We have a current opportunity for a WTG SMA Procurement Manager on a contract basis.
Wind Turbine Generator Service and Maintenance Agreement
Duration: 12 months
Outside of IR35 with a major operator in offshore Wind.
Your responsibilities:
1. Managing the negotiation of the Service Maintenance Agreement (SMA) and Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) contracts for the WTG package in collaboration with the project team stakeholders.
2. Leading the negotiation of the commercial contractual terms with the preferred supplier up to FID and Contract Award.
3. Delivering the SMA and LTSA contracts in line with the project schedule.
4. Collaborating with the project team to negotiate the Turbine Supply Agreement (TSA), ensuring interfaces and commercial risks are appropriately addressed.
5. Supporting the process of preparing for and seeking approval from the Project Leadership Team, Board, and Shareholders to award contracts.
Background needed:
* Experience or strong understanding of large-scale energy projects in the offshore wind industry.
* At least 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or project development, preferably in large infrastructure, manufacturing, or energy projects including renewables.
* Understanding of offshore wind project development, its components, and supply chain complexities.
* Experience with stakeholder management, tendering, negotiation, and awarding WTG service agreements.
* Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
A commercial mindset, analytical skills, and confidence in stakeholder negotiations are essential.
