Deputy Team Leader Role
As a Deputy Team Leader, you’ll ensure our young people receive the best care. This rewarding role involves working directly with young people and supporting the Care Manager in promoting outstanding child care practices within the school.
Your Responsibilities
1. Supervise Key Workers, encouraging effective evaluation, monitoring, planning, and evaluating for each young person.
2. Maintain full and complete casework records for young people.
3. Make sound decisions and act on them during case conferences, reviews, and planning meetings.
4. In the absence of the Team Leader, oversee all residential admin and childcare functions.
5. Take responsibility for the school on specific evenings and weekends, including sleep-in duties when required.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in residential childcare.
* Ideally, a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) or an equivalent qualification.
* Ability to build strong relationships with children and parents.
* Resilience and understanding are essential.
* Full UK driving licence.
