Job Description: Job Title: Estates Team Leader Trust: East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust Location: Lister Hospital (with occasional travel across multiple sites) Pay Rate: Band 5, £16.53ph Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday - 08:00-16:00 About the Trust East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust provide services to the local community to around 500,000 people, with the regional cancer centre supporting around 2 million people. They provide care to the community with an annual budget of around £350 million and more than 5,000 staff. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage a small maintenance team. * Oversee work allocation, including using the Planet FM CAFM system. * Understanding of health and safety compliance (RAMS, COSHH assessments, safety permits). * Deliver toolbox talks, conduct 1-2-1 meetings, and manage customer service. * Attend meetings with service users and inspect work sites. The Skills Required Strong leadership and estates team management experience. * Qualified to City and Guilds Level 3 / Maintenance NVQ Level 3 or equivalent * Knowledge of electrical/mechanical building services (HVAC systems). * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and email. * ·Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Familiar with health & safety regulations. Desirable: * Experience with CAFM systems (Planet FM, ENHance, Oracle).
