The role
As a Client Services Director, you will oversee agency management, including internal and client relationships, financial management, and resourcing. You will build and maintain client relationships, guide your team across various medical communication projects, and contribute to securing new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, commercial acumen, and mentoring skills, supporting both client and scientific teams, and providing strategic direction.
Requirements
* 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a full-service medical communications agency
* Degree in life sciences, ideally with a Master’s or PhD, or relevant qualification
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship development skills, with the ability to influence and actively listen
* Strong team player with solutions-based and complex problem-solving abilities
* Visionary leadership and ability to motivate and lead by example
* Effective management, delegation, communication, and negotiation skills
* Understanding of multi-faceted business operations
* Planning, forecasting, organizational skills, and adherence to deadlines
* High attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
