All our tankers are manufactured in Spain and then arrive to the UK through a business partner in Scunthorpe. (Clugston Distribtion)
We are looking for a organsied person to facilitate the final step of the process before the units go to truck OEM for PDI or hand over of the final units.
Specific job roles will inclide:
Arraning of programming of trucks by truck OEM (DAF, MAN, Scania, Volvo etc) and checking when done.
Running through of truck metetering systems in prepration for calibration of metering- checking for any leaks and resolving if necessary.
Liasing with metering company for calibration and assisting on site if necessary.
Working with Clugston Distribtion driving trucks through ADR test bay and moving into workshop area for sub contractors.
It may be necessary to travel around the UK if necassary to work on tankers to fix minor faults -
Travel to Leeds office once a fortnight for planning meetings.
Travel to manufacturing plant in Spain would be necessary at times.
Somebody that has worked on Diesel Generators and or Diesel Pumps would be ideal for this role.
Working with mechanical systems, basic 24V electric and pneumatic systems - these skills are not essential but an advantage.
HGV license not essential as driving of trucks is on private land and training wil be provided
