Job Description:
We are currently seeking a confident and dependable Cover Supervisor to work in a well-regarded Secondary School in Folkestone. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring pupils remain engaged and follow the school’s behaviour policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise whole classes across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials
* Maintain a positive and orderly learning environment
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Provide support and guidance to students as required
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people (preferred)
* Strong communication and classroom management skills
* A confident, flexible, and professional attitude
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
