LEV Technician
Responsibilities:
* Install, test, and commission new LEV systems following industry regulations and standards.
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on existing LEV systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
* Carry out LEV system performance measurements and assessments using appropriate equipment.
* Identify any faults or inefficiencies in LEV systems and undertake necessary repairs and improvements.
* Provide technical guidance and support concerning LEV systems to colleagues and clients.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed on LEV systems.
* Stay updated on relevant health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
* Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of LEV-related activities.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an LEV Technician or in a similar role.
* Excellent knowledge of LEV systems and their components, including fans, ductwork, filters, and control devices.
* Familiarity with relevant legislation and standards, such as COSHH regulations
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
* Experience in performing LEV system measurements and assessments using appropriate instruments.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
* Must hold a valid driver's license.
