Duties
* Carry out stripping, refurbishing, and fitting of a variety of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards
* Perform diagnostic tasks accurately and efficiently
* Ensure high standards of repair work are maintained at all times
* Support team members including painters, panel beakers, and other MET fitters
* Complete job cards and paperwork accurately to reflect work completed as a MET Technician
* Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines and targets
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements
* Proven experience in mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) fitting and stripping on various vehicle makes and models
* Own tools and diagnostic equipment
* Relevant qualifications such as ATA/NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or a minimum of three years' hands‑on experience
* Valid UK driving licence
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
* Ability to work within a busy environment while meeting targets and deadlines
