As an Administrative Officer, you’ll be an integral part of our Social Work teams, providing essential administrative support that allows frontline professionals to focus on what matters most – safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this dynamic and rewarding role, you’ll play a vital role behind the scenes handling a variety of tasks utilising your skills in organisation and communication.
What you’ll do:
* Manage administrative and scheduling tasks including diary management, meeting coordination, and general team support to ensure smooth operations.
* Prepare and maintain documentation such as reports, correspondence, court documents, and accurate databases and records.
* Handle confidential information with discretion while acting as the first point of contact for internal and external queries.
* Support financial and logistical processes by assisting with financial administration, processing invoices and payments, and organising transport for families.
* Facilitate effective communication with social workers, partner agencies, and families to support casework and service delivery.
What we’re looking for:
* Extensive administrative experience with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in IT and digital systems, including Microsoft Office and other software.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships and work effectively in a team.
* Adaptable and resilient, capable of working under pressure, using initiative, and managing competing priorities.
