Join our friendly and supportive GP practice team as a Medical Administrator, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality administrative support that helps ensure patients receive safe, effective, and timely care. This varied and rewarding position involves managing patient registrations, processing clinical correspondence, maintaining accurate patient records, clinical coding, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the practice.


Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will support the smooth running of the practice by managing a range of administrative processes, including patient registration, clinical correspondence, document management, and record maintenance. The role requires accurate data entry, effective use of clinical systems, and the ability to prioritise workload within a busy primary care environment.

Working closely with clinicians and the wider practice team, you will ensure patient information is processed efficiently and confidentially, contribute to maintaining high-quality patient records, and support the delivery of safe and effective patient care. The role offers a varied workload and would suit someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to administrative support.

Job responsibilities

To provide comprehensive administrative support to the GP practice, ensuring the efficient processing of patient registrations, clinical correspondence, coding, document management, and general office duties. The post holder will contribute to the smooth running of practice operations while maintaining high standards of patient confidentiality, data quality, and customer service.
