Holt Executive is partnering with Marlink to support a critical hire for a Senior Sales Manager to support their Maritime Business Unit.

Your Mission
The Senior Sales Manager, reporting to the VP Sales, will be a self-motivated, service-driven professional. They will cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients in the Maritime & Shipping sectors within the region.
The role involves setting strategic direction and achieving sales targets for the Marlink Group. The Senior Sales Manager – UK + Europe will explore opportunities in regions where other business units have limited visibility and resources, enhancing Marlink’s overall position.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Develop business relations with existing and new customers within the region, understanding their needs and identifying sales opportunities.
* Achieve profitable growth targets, identify market opportunities, and establish go-to-market strategies for the region to increase market share and revenue.
* Develop an annual regional sales strategy to support growth initiatives.
* Increase Marlink's brand awareness and positioning within the region.
* Support the development of the Marlink Product Portfolio based on customer feedback.
* Communicate persuasively at all organization levels up to C-level.
* Report market activities, needs, and trends to the VP Sales Europe North.
* Engage with strategy and marketing teams to understand market dynamics and develop engagement strategies, including events and tradeshows.
Key Experience and Knowledge required:
* Experience selling Telecommunication, IT Managed Services, Technology, or Security solutions.
* Understanding of and ability to sell integrated, managed solutions based on value.
* 8-10 years of successful experience in services-based selling.
* Proven success in selling complex deals.
* Experience with modern selling concepts (as-a-Service) and resolving complex issues creatively.
* Independent work ethic, detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills.
