Responsibilities
* Design and develop vehicle systems and conversions from concept through to validated, production‑ready solutions
* Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and associated technical documentation
* Support performance analysis, testing, validation and troubleshooting activities
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver against cost, quality and schedule requirements
* Apply engineering standards, processes and best practice to ensure safe and compliant designs
Location: Walsall. Working hours: Monday‑Thursday 08:00‑17:00, Friday 08:00‑13:00 (39 hours per week).
Qualifications
* Experience working within an automotive or vehicle‑focused engineering environment
* Strong technical understanding of engineering standards, processes, components and design techniques
* Proven ability to plan, prioritise and deliver work to project deadlines
* Well‑developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capability
* Degree qualified in an engineering‑related subject or equivalent professional experience
Security Clearance
Must achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) and NPPV1 security clearance.
