Duties will include:-
Driving of Refuse, Recycling, Food Waste & White Goods/Bulky collection vehicles.
* Driving of Refuse, Recycling, Food Waste & White Goods/Bulky collection vehicles.
* Ensuring collection of refuse & recycling routes on a daily basis in a safe and efficient manner adhering to Health & Safety and Safe Working Procedures.
* Other tasks relating to Waste Collection Service functions.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for recruitment within Facilities, Waste and Neighbourhood Services. We deliver a wide variety of frontline services and require a Senior Refuse & Recycling Operative at our depot in Culhorn Depot, Stranraer, to work 28.75 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year.
You will be expected to carry out various duties as instructed by the Waste Supervisor and have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. You will be required to work as a team member.
This post is subject to candidate vetting through Disclosure Scotland.
You will be educated to Standard Grade Level and have Class C, HGV License, and valid Driver CPC.
