Finance Assistant
Overview Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for numbers and a passion for accuracy? We are seeking a dynamic Finance Assistant on a full-time basis (35 hours a week). In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining purchase ledger records, processing invoices, and supporting the finance team with essential administrative tasks. Salary: Up to £27,500 (dependent on experience)
Hours: 09:00 17:00, Monday to Friday (35 hours a week)

Responsibilities
Processing and maintaining purchase ledger records with precision and accuracy.
Handling invoice processing and resolving any invoice-related queries.
Batch posting of invoices.
Assisting with cash management and bank reconciliation.
Dealing with Freelancer and supplier payment runs.
Period end Procedure and statement reconciliation.
Providing administrative support to the finance team.
Ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and within required deadlines.
Essential
Proven experience in purchase ledger.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask effectively in a busy and varied environment.
A proactive, organised, and methodical approach to work.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Previous experience with Sage software would be beneficial but not essential
